Description

Report to: Production Director

Responsibilities:

  • Management of a Production department of over 50 people with plan to increase headcount to 80 within 2 to 3 months
  • Ensure the smooth running of the production process
  • Ensure that all products are produced manufactured correctly, cost efficiently and according to technical specifications and quality standards
  • Arrange weekly production planning for each line based on Planning Department instructions and monitor implementation
  • Meet targets and deadlines and deliver orders on time and according to quality standards
  • Define precise production capabilities for each production lines and manage capabilities improvement over time
  • Responsible for efficiency and productivity of the whole production process and improvement over time (lean manufacturing) and optimization of the lines
  • Responsible for 5S and for machines cleanliness
  • Responsible for risk assessment of every line and type of machines, identification of necessary PPE and safety measures and strict utilization of PPE
  • Leadership responsibilities
  • Use of the lines:
  • Take full responsibility of products quality according to company’s quality systems, processes and procedures
  • Monitor, measure and report on production performances and issues
  • Work with planning to estimate production times and staffing requirements
  • Ensure that all team members can identify issues root causes and take effective actions to solve problems in hand
  • Ensure company’s resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
  • Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are applied thoroughly and constantly

Requirements:

  • Engineering diploma or degree
  • At least 5 years working experience with at least 3 years in a similar positions
  • Experience acquired in the metal welding and grinding, preferably in metal based furniture

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Legal & PAC Director to establish and update direction for the Legal function and ensure alignment with business strategy
  • Develop the guidelines, processes and templates and monitor the implementation
  • Provide proactive Legal guidance, advice and assist in problem-resolution on a timely basis on various laws applicable to the organization and other issues which may arise; work as part of cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives and provide Legal guidance as required
