Job title: Business Intelligence Manager

Report to: Finance Director

Scope:

The purpose of this position is to use the available information to help the company make better educated decisions and to help the overall productivity of the organization by tracking data, investments and initiatives:

  • Set up and support the completion of monthly reports, business reviews, marketing activities tracking, business analytics;
  • Work closely with Country Manager and Leadership Managers to set up various information reports, productivity reports (sales/marketing) develop new initiatives which will enable the organization to become more productive;
  • Work on regional projects and requests (if any).

Major Accountabilities: include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Organizing our current sales/marketing data/activities to ensure the organization can review results, good communication with partners, etc.;
  • Set up/manage Business Intelligence Reports including sales/marketing reports, managing IMS data; develop and present executive summaries, reports and presentations of key research findings; conduct strategic market analysis by integrating external research and internal information;
  • Develop a comprehensive market intelligence framework including creation of models and processes in support of market intelligence;
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management board by proactively translating business challenges into research briefings and analysis;
  • Assess marketability and profitability of products by analyzing market trends in coordination with marketing, business development and operational excellence;
  • Identify new business potential by defining market, market shares and growths, competitors share, advantages and weaknesses and forecasting potential new business;
  • Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Pharmaceutical, Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Management or related fields;
  • Superior analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative; the ability to translate data to strategic recommendations; creative mindset, analytical and logical;
  • Superior critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills. Ability to speak articulately to senior management;
  • Result-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Computer literate, good command of spoken and written English;
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, interdependent projects from initiation to completion and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities;
  • Ability to define quality standards for customer service and deliver within agreed time frame;
  • Ability to influence others in support of a robust market intelligence process.

Job Title: Ads and Marketing (A&M) Management Manager

Main purpose:

  • Lead A&M process & reporting, monitor marketing budget to ensure compliance of A&M spending via A&M process.
  • Lead MKT admin on paper works to support brand team focus on Marketing competency.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and get alignment A&M for AOP for Marketing Department basing on the good  knowledge about Brand activities
  • Build and get alignment on T&E, G&A, IT of AOP for whole Marketing Department
  • Own and execute marketing tracking fund/ A&M budget and actual spending to ensure that marketing funds are used effectively and in control
  • Monthly tracking A&M/ Year End Closing budget and A&M Accruals, Fall in/ Fall out.
  • Control and lead all kinds of A&M process, including process for JV and FOBO.
  • Provide A&M reporting timely and accurately to other functions, franchises (VIMAP), region (Asia Pacific) and sector
  • Lead the whole team (Marketing and Trade Marketing) to work with the Corporate auditors, Region/Sectors Auditors, Internal Auditors,  and External auditors  by liaising and being the contact person to handle auditor requests, following up with other functions to implement action plans after audit
  • Participate in the initial negotiation with the key retainer agencies to get the long-term commitment of 1-2 years
  • Process the contract/ annex, allocate agencies budget to all brands and make retainer fees payments to  key agencies such as creative agencies, media agencies, and package design, etc.
  • Follow up and update status of payments  for (Out of scopes and production house fee ) for key agencies
  • Lead process and manage budget on global cross charge/ Ring fence/CI cross charge…
  • Support brands team to directly work with finance/ control team on contracts, payment terms, payment request, clarify new request from finance/control and cascade to the MKT team.
  • Support brand team on wrong charges: find out wrong charge for brands, support brands team to work with finance to revert , etc,
  • Support brands team on adhoc requests on other functions
  • Support the team on PRPO system, working with IT to fix if error, testing to confirm error is remediated, etc.
  • Provide induction of A&M process for newcomers joining MKT Department and other functions (if required)
  • Lead PR process, monitor marketing budget (PR,PO), make sure to deliver the right timeline for Marketing Team
  • Lead MKT Admin to reduce workload for Marketing Department, make sure deliver on timeline: MFAR process ,contracts, invoices, …etc.

Candidate’s Specification:

  • University graduation in marketing, economics or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experiences, preferable in FMCG
  • Strong numerical skills (strong sense of numbers) and analysis skills
  • Details-oriented
  • Good at communication, negotiation skills across internal functions, global, sector, region…
  • Good at leadership (able to take others with you and deal with senior levels)
  • Good at English and strong Excel as well as other office computer skills
