Position Title: Quality & Regulatory Affairs Assistant

Department: Quality & Regulatory Affairs

Functionally reports to: Senior QRA Specialist

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Affairs/ Product Registration (from 70%)

  • Prepare, submit and follow up for product approvals and registrations in full compliance with local regulations while building and maintaining good relation with health authorities
  • Work with internal departments to support Drager’s product registration needs such as consolidating Vietnamese Instructions for Use/Quick guides, and making Vietnamese labels
  • Work with external stakeholders such as local RA partners engaged in the registration process
  • Support in tender requests, customer inquiries/letters for QRA issues; reporting variations, and other reporting to authorities.

2. Intergrated System Management & Quality Affairs (15%)

  • Support Integrated Management Systems: field actions, corrective action, product recalls if there is, advisory/warning notices, customer complaints, non-conforming products - including manage internal quality systems
  • Implement and maintain effective controls for non-conforming product handling, reporting, labelling and disposition
  • Support internal & external audits by notified bodies in collaboration with Regional Quality Head; elimination of findings with appropriate immediate actions, corrective actions and effectiveness checks

3. Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental System (5%)

  • Maintain and monitor library of regulations, policies, standards, and other quality, occupational HSE system documentation as required, online and offline
  • Coordinate related events and trainings, consolidate HSE data, register incident and accident, incident investigations if there is

4. Other assigments by QRA Specialist (10%)

  • Administrative tasks such as payment, dossier filling
  • Note: Proportion & priorities of the job can change depends on the needs of work & regulations at a given time.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree, vocational training or comparable business experience, medical/technical background prefered but not complusory
  • Minimum 1 years of working experience.
  • Experience in registration, or working with authorities, or QA  (ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.
  • The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
  • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned or directed.

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in engineering capital equipment channel sales environment.  Project management experience needed; ability to interface with all levels of engineering, procurement, shipping, production, etc. and develop excellent working relationships with customers.  Excellent communication skills necessary.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronic).  Proficient in appropriate computer software necessary to successfully navigate the job (Microsoft Office, etc).

Scope of Work:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities .

Reponsibities:

1. Account Payable & Treasury

2. Tax

-Ensure to implement tax obligation timely & completely.

3. Account Receivable

-Provide finance solution to limit risk bad debt.

-Ensure to calculate rebate/discount to customers accurately & completely.

4. Retread Part

-Prepare budget to ensure factory operation smoothly.

-Ensure to record revenue, actual expenditures timely,accurately & completely.

-Check & set up standard cost to ensure costing of retread accurately & completely.

-Support sale department to make contract, arrange to deliver goods.

5. Assets/Property & Inventory

-Manage fix assets & office equipments to use most effectively.

-Ensure to comply about depreciation method  with Vietnam Accounting Standard principle.

-Plan for stock count to ensure the same quantity with accounting book .

6. Audit

-Manage auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.

7. Others.

-Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and post journal entries

-Support to make budget, control budget and propose to reduce & cut cost

-Management of warehouse accounting & documentation which comply with law and business information requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/master degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CMA or ACCA is a plus
  • Minimum 2-3 experience in accounting/finance leader
  • with managerial role & working in multinational firm be must.
  • Highly proactive and hands-on
  • Strong communication with high level of intergrity.
  • Result-oriented, detail-orientated and strong analytical thinking.
  • Strong business partner skill and leadership skill.
  • Strong communication & negotiation skill with banks & tax department.

JOB OVERVIEW

  • Under supervision, the process engineer will be English speaking and work in a team environment to identify, evaluate, and work to resolve manufacturing issues in the daily production processes.
  • Provide leadership in the optimization and troubleshooting of existing casting, welding processes and machining.
  • Participate in engineering activities leading towards the design and implementation of process improvements and the technical transfer of new products from research and development to product commercialization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Process Improvement (50%)

  • Provide technical knowledge to continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing productivity and yields for all golf head manufacturing processes
  • Including but not limited to casting, welding, machining, bonding and finishing
  • Assist in the identification of new materials, methods, and tools in order to improve current processes and/or equipment
  • Develop understanding of production processes to identify the key process parameters related to yield and product performance
  • Support the execution of studies to stabilize, characterize, and optimize key golf head manufacturing process parameters
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of all Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tools for key processes
  • Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to test and optimize new materials and processes

2.  Day-to-day support (30%)

  • Support Manufacturing in efforts to troubleshoot the manufacturing processes on a daily basis
  • Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing documentation with input from appropriate functions
  • Assist Manufacturing in the training of operators, technicians, and supervisors as needed
  • Work with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) as needed to ensure that equipment and processes comply with applicable codes and regulations

3. New Products (20%)

  • Work with the COMPANY’s Product Engineering Team to review and confirm that Qualification components, clubs and processes meet design intent
  • Work with the COMPANY’s Product Engineering Team to ensure process specifications, procedures, and controls related to all manufacturing processes of new products are well documented and communicated before launch
  • Assist with creating target and limit samples as directed and confirm that all samples are available to SI before production quality inspections commence
  • Provide input to the COMPANY’s Product Engineering Team regarding materials processing options during the development of new products – Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Work to improve volume process capabilities in anticipation of new product requirements
  • Provide input regarding opportunities to reduce cost for components or processes
  • Assist with overseeing the product qualification processes, components and finished clubs and prepare qualification reports

FREQUENCY TASK LIST

Daily

  • Check e-mail and reply as necessary

  • Interface with CGC personnel
  • Provide support to manufacturing cells as needed
  • Review documentation for testing, changes, instructions, etc. and provide recommendations
  • Walk manufacturing floor and review manufacturing processes, focusing on areas of needed improvements

Weekly

  • Update project timelines and summarize projects
  • Meet with manager to discuss results and path forward
  • Interface with suppliers and/or sub-contractors, including visits to existing and/or potential suppliers/sub-contractors
  • Research new materials, methods, and testing
  • Evaluate new equipment and/or processes
  • Review and report on the capability, efficiency and quality of components and finished clubs

Monthly

  • Support production as needed

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Technical knowledge in casting, welding and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to Investment Casting, Laser Welding, Plasma Welding, TIG Welding, Brazing, Bonding and Finishing required. Working knowledge of composite manufacture a plus
  • General knowledge of overall manufacturing processes required
  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
  • Good knowledge of statistical tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in both written and verbal English
  • Able to read and interpret instructions, procedures, etc.
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and priorities and function without rigid organizational boundaries
  • Must show evidence of increasing responsibility with years of experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or relevant experience
  • 2 years’experience with golfmanufacturing processes demonstrating skills in the above duties
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certificationideal
  • Experience working for a US based company, representing said company in oversea activities
