• To manage & develop the Sea Freight division for whole country
• Supervise the Import & Export team, especially in Export function
• Generate the new business development and excellent network builder in logistics industry
• To actively engage in operational problems with a view to find workable solutions
• To develop the overall local operational strategy and direction for the local Sea Freight Forwarding teams in accordance and alignment with the country strategy.
• Advise on key decisions pertaining to the day-to-day activities for the Sea department, consulting with senior management when necessary.
• Oversee locally the development of new Sea Freight business, including the commercial policy and strategic business development direction.
• Ensure that financial management, billing and invoicing, and reporting for freight is carried out in accordance with requirements. Also, to ensure that costs are booked correctly
• Approve staffing recommendations to ensure sufficient and adequately experienced human resources are in place locally to carry out the agreed business objectives in all areas of freight activity.
• Ensure that all freight staff is trained on the information systems and that they are using them correctly to support the needs of the business.

• University Degree in Business Administration / Logistics or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sea freight operations & business development at managerial level in an
• international logistics company / forwarder.
• Good experiences in LCL consolidation services
• Strong communication and presentation skills with excellent English proficiency
• Pro-active, aggressive, result oriented, competent leader and team player
• Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts on internal and external board level
• Good knowledge of sea business areas in International markets

Responsibilities:

• Develop SC Capability Development Strategy / Implementation Plan within the framework of SC Strategy to design and adapt global training curriculum with local tailored-made training needs
• Develop Annual SC Training plan in conjunction with SC, HR and regional SC team based on specific training needs analysis and overall SC competency needs for all SC forces.
• Design courses, develop training materials, Implement and adapt reality of "SC Capability Development Plan" including nationwide SC capability plan and local tailored-made training plan by working closely with Regional SC team to assure the training plan fulfillment, alignment and execution has been implemented as designed.
• Design sustainable SC force Career Roadmap and provide necessary training & development plan to support the career development framework
• Design effective training & development tracking system in-place to identify key performers and prepare for succession planning within SC department

Requirements:

• University graduated – prefer in technical
• Experience in SC Training & Development
• Understand well and/or have experience with Production, SHEQ, Asset Care…
• 3-5 years of experience in management
• Understand Organization Development Methodology & HR related matters
• Advanced Negotiation & Influencing, Inspiring, Coaching & Training, Communication skills
