Description
TEAM LEADER
- Have the general overview of the technician’s work performance and their possible need of education.
- Make sure the whole team is working with the same tools and methods.
- Supervise communication with BO and supplier.
- Be a good role model /a leader and work on building the team to a top performing team.
- Support technicians to be proactive and to search &create new ideas to solve problems and share them with the rest of the group.
- Work close with Senior Merch and Senior QC to ensure best final product.
- Coordinate the team’s holidays, traveling and education.
- Check and follow up the workload of the technicians.
- Evaluate individual staff performance and work actively with feed back and dialogue talks.
COOPERATION WITH OTHER PO TEAMS
- Strengthen cooperation with QC team and Merch team in order to secure best garments for bulk production.
- Share problems with rest of the teams to improve and learn by our mistakes.
COOPERATION WITH SEBO-PO
- Create a good dialogue with patternmaker in SEBO. Initiate PO approvals whenever possible.
- Receive and analyze information re. new technical guidelines.
- Encourage team to update patternmakers in SEBO conc. poss. improvements of garment.
COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
- Good knowledge of suppliers technical level (machinery as well as employees skills).
- Education of suppliers, our general technical requirements/Fitting Blocks/How to measure/How to read m-list.
- Encourage suppliers to become more active in finding good technical solutions.

Description
- Ensure appropriate and timely production placement decisions are made to achieve the company’s objectives.
- Communicate efficiently with different teams and geographies
- Understand suppliers capabilities, capacity and performance.
- Third party logistics for consolidation and de-consolidation to support global markets
- Traveling to factories and asses the factory capacity and capabilities for Global bids
- Cost negotiations based on an in-depth understanding of component pricing. Provide cost savings to markets and present it management on quarterly basis
- Manage the global supplier base to ensure its performance has met or exceed the organizational objectives. Supplier rationalization by category
- Lead the sourcing project from starting to end & provide coaching to teammates on sourcing activities.
- Participate in buying trip to ensure the trip objectives are achieved.
- Compile sourcing data, formulate spreadsheet and data analysis and consolidation
- Continuously develop product & market knowledge.
- Travel to factories and provide feedback on factories/suppliers capacity and technical abilities to support the market requirements
- Execute department initiatives that are align with GMC strategy.
- Contribute to the building of the sourcing matrix and supplier alignment by product category.
- Compile information, consolidate, organize, formulate spreadsheet and reports for supervisor’s studies and analysis.
- Manage the buying trip from A-Z including pre-trip, itinerary set up, cost negotiation to finalization to ensure the trip objectives are fully achieved.
- Manage order execution and resolve product and production issues on a timely and proactive manner.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure it meet or exceed company KPI.
- Conduct market research, compile relevant business reports and recaps to better understand and manage the business.
- Provide solution to markets on items and value engineering proposition to the markets to better the product and lower the cost of goods
- Follow up from PO creation to execution of the product
- Communicate and coordinate with Sourcing dept and stakeholders
- Resolve product and production issues on a timely basis to protect quality and ensure on time delivery by coordinating with appropriate parties.
- Contribute to supplier matrix and supplier alignment
- Maintain and update the performance data of each supplier on a regular basis.
- Compile relevant business reports and recaps to better understand and manage the business.
- Identify and resolve product spec issues upfront. Direct product specs to the right supplier after discussion with the appropriate Global market. Understand and communicate product requirements to Supplier.
- Proactively identify potential product and production issues. Involve technical and sourcing team to achieve quality, price and delivery requirements.
- Execute placements based on supplier capability, capacity, quality and delivery performance and price.
- Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed
Requirement:
- Excellent command of English and local language. Good communication skills.

TEAM LEADER
Senior QC must as a team leader:
- Be a good role model, a leader and work on building the QC-team to its top performance.
- Evaluate, identify talents through dialogue talks. Make sure all QC's will develop and grow by supporting their needs.
- Have a general overview of each QC's work performance.
- Make sure the whole team is working with the same tools and methods by education and coaching.
- Be responsible for co-ordination and follow up of QC's workload and schedules.
- Co-ordinate the team's holidays, travel- and education schedules.
- Support QC's to be proactive, search and create new ideas, solve problems and share them with the rest of the team.
- Work closely with PQM, Sr. Technician and Sr. Merchandiser to secure best final products.
- Ensure that each QC reaches the goals required by the PO.
- Support communication with PO and Suppliers.
COOPERATION WITH PO TEAMS
- Senior QC must co-operate with PO teams and have an open dialogue continuously within the QC-team e.g. find solutions and effective methods for the production, right QC responsible for right factory/order.
- Strengthen co-operation with Merchandiser- and Technician team, in order to secure best products for bulk production.
- Give feedback to PO regarding of Suppliers/Factories capacity.
- Work closely with the GPQ responsible to resolve quality problems early.
COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
- Senior QC must Co-operate with Suppliers and have a good knowledge of Suppliers production set up e.g. production process, machinery as well as employees skills.
- Help with education of Suppliers in General Technical Requirements, How to Measure, how to write Inspection reports and AQL system.
- Encourage Suppliers to become more active in finding good solutions to secure the best product for bulk production.
