Description

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, directing, or coordinating production activities of an organization to ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Formulate or implement regulatory affairs policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced
  • Communicate regulatory information to multiple departments and ensure that information is interpreted correctly
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations including proposed and final rules
  • Monitor emerging trends regarding industry regulations to determine potential impacts on organizational processes
  • Oversee documentation efforts to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations and standards
  • Provide responses to regulatory agencies regarding product information or issues
  • Act as a liaison with outside manufacturing vendors to ensure manufacturing compliance
  • Perform onsite inspections of contract manufacturing and raw material suppliers when needed
  • Act as a liaison with contract manufacturing regulatory departments. Develop and maintain product information for consumer and customer questions
  • Work with customer service departments to respond and address consumer and customer Complaints

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Over 2 years’ experience, preferably 4 years in a Regulatory compliance role
  • Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Communicating effectively in writing to the recipients.  Ability in speaking with others to convey information effectively
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
