Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key stakeholders (UK category team, T1/T2 vendors, and cross-functional supply chain team) to drive the Garment development processes in Asia to ensure on-time prototypes, fitting, SMS, testing until PP samples sign-off to meet desired function/key feathers, costing, manufacturability as well as on-time launch
- Ensure all tech packages/product specifications are accurately created, maintained, and updated OTIF in the system
- Lead the PP meetings to ensure a smooth transition from development to production
- Be proactive in applying garment construction and manufacturing processes re-engineering to maximize cost benefits and improve margin
- Responsible for ensuring product compliance to relevant legal standards in both safety and chemical
- Drive key vendor self-approval initiatives, i.e. tech packages creation, Certified QC program, etc., to improve development lead-times and efficiencies
- Team player, able to lead when required, capable of working cross-functionally with good project management skills.
Your Experience
- Garment construction & pattern engineering to improve fit and the cost margin
- In-depth Garment manufacturing processes in a factory environment
- A better understanding of fabrics, trims, and related testing
- Good time management skills to control development critical path to ensure key milestones met
- Strong communication skills both verbally and electronically in a multi-cultural environment
- Teamwear experience is preferable
- Graduated from textile engineering/garment design background
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with major international brands in the Garment

Quality Assurance Team Leader Footwear
- Footwear
Responsibilities:
Product commercialization
- Responsible for product quality at commercialization phase and make sure new products are transfer smoothly from development team in CN to factories in North Vietnam
- Responsible T4 in factories in North Vietnam, providing technical input throughout the production, identifies T4 performance KPIs of factories in North Vietnam, leads analysis and reporting data to measure factories performance in North Vietnam
- Control of the commercialization process, leading all meetings with factories, maintaining records, and keeping to agreed schedules.
- Follow up with vendors and internal stake holders to make sure all gaps at development are informed and closed effectively with comprehensive corrective action plans.
- Identifies how best to support Technical Team & vendors through the feasibility and commercialisation
Quality management
- Identifies and implements Quality Assurance strategies across the Supply chain to improve quality and reduce cost to the business.
- In charge of reviewing lab test, daily reports from production audits and final inspections to capture key problems and work out corrective action plan with vendor to prevent customer complaints.
- Measure quality KPIs (customer complaint/production audit/final inspection), follow up with vendors for action plan to close gap systematically and communicate effectively with different levels in country and regional team on problems/root cause and containment/preventive actions.
- Responsible for daily/weekly reports from QA technicians and make sure inspection and daily production audits are consistent at highest integrity, pro-actively analyse data and find root causes and solve quality problems in a structured way.
· Make sure vendors are complied with Brand’s quality requirements (footwear test
methods & standards, quality requirements).
- Manage daily activities of QA technicians, be a key contact for production quality problems found at daily production audits, incoming materials, lab tests and final inspection.
- Timely support team members on their daily challenges and drive vendor for quality improvement.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager
People management
- Evaluate annual performances of QA technicians and coach team members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results. Coaching involves developing team members’ performance, offering feedback, and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic.
- Organize team meetings, topics of discussion and progress toward the goal.
- Responsible for preventing conflict where possible and resolving it, setting ground rules and clearly assigning tasks to team members.
- Co-ordinates and manages teams work schedule and priorities and ensures internal process and performance
Qualifications:
-
- Have experience in footwear quality management position, preferably for international brands.

- Experienced in factory management, product manufacturing and technology, experience in relevant product category.
- Able to work with different levels in complex situations with minimum supervision and drive for improvements at vendor sites with quantitative results.
- Familiar with quality assurance and process improvement and tools, data driven decision making and systematically thinking way.
- Experienced in relevant footwear product testing and standards.
- Effective skills in data reporting & analysis, good analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to details.
- Can-do attitude, while willing and able to come up with practical solutions when problems arise.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to work both independently & as part of a team at different locations (Quang Ninh and Thai Binh).
- Experienced in working effectively across multiple functions in a global business
- Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment.
- Computer literate in office tools (MS outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel).
